【Prohibits the use of foreign-standard radios】

Family radio service(FRS) cannot be used in Japan.
General mobile radio service(GMRS) cannot be licensed in Japan thus cannot be used.

＊Radios that use the 462 and 467 MHz bands may interfere with important wireless communications
such as disaster prevention administrative radio systems or broadcasting business radios.
The use of Australian UHF-CB and New Zealand PRS is prohibited, because the frequencies are used
for television broadcasting in Japan. The use of such devices causes a range of problems related to television reception.
