［Request to inform your guests］Notice to passengers using JR Kutchan station

The number of guests using JR line is increasing now. Some guests missed the train because they arrived a little bit late at Kutchan station and had to use taxi going to the airport.
Kutchan Tourist Information Center ask you, especially accommodation company, to inform your guests below.
If it’s possible, please send it through the mail which send guests before arriving.

1. IC Card and Creditcard in your smartphone CANNOT be used in Kutchan station.
Only CASH and (physical) CREDITCARD are accepted in Kutchan Station.
You can not use your smartphone for paying.And also, you need to purchase tickets when you come from New Chitose Airport, Sapporo, or Hakodate station.

2. Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive at Kutchan station
Some people missed the train because the bus arrive late.
If you miss the train, next train might be 1 hour later and bus schedule is also limited.
For pick-up & send-off service also, please check the schedule again.
