1st September 2021: the cluster in Kutchan Area was confirmed at a language school. Japanese only information is here.
29th March 2021: the cluster declared on 8th March 2021 is confirmed to have converged (finished)
16th March 2021: a cluster in Kutchan was confirmed at a language school. 15 students and 4 staff (total 19) were confirmed to have contracted Covid19. 4 in February and the remainder on 13th & 14th March 2021. As some are not residents of Kutchan or Shiribeshi their numbers are not included in the details below. Japanese only information is here.

The infection situation in public businesses that have announced infections is as follows: currently, all businesses that announced infections are in the "Hirafu area" and "Kutchan Downtown area".

2. About measures against infectious diseases in the Niseko area.

In the Niseko area, we are working on the "New Hokkaido Style" promoted by Hokkaido.
In addition, each store is taking measures against infectious diseases by referring to the "Industry-Specific Guidelines"(Japanese Only) published by the Cabinet Secretariat's New Coronavirus Infectious Disease Control Promotion Office.
We will promote measures against infectious diseases in the area together with member businesses.
