Information Session of Kuthan Town’s Accommodation Tax Rate Change

The Hokkaido Prefectural Government will introduce a new accommodation tax starting from fiscal year 2026.
Kutchan Town needs to secure financial resources to be allocated to Hokkaido Government and to appropriately react to the changing social environment surrounding the town.
For this, the Town plans to revise the accommodation tax rate from fiscal year 2026 (Reiwa 8).
To this end, the Town will hold an information session for local businesses regarding the tax rate revision to maintain fixed rate taxation avoiding mixing with fixed amount system.
