Notice Regarding Conclusion of Winter Season Vehicle Registration Project for Hirafu Parking Lot No. 1

In our ongoing efforts to alleviate congestion within the Hirafu Ski Area No. 1 Parking Lot, we have recently concluded the vehicle registration project for businesses utilizing the designated bus lanes, spanning from December through March. We extend our sincerest gratitude for your cooperation during this period, as it has allowed us to effectively manage the parking facility.

As of the end of March, the registration period for the fiscal year 2023 has officially concluded, and we kindly request that all entry permits be discarded accordingly.

Below is a breakdown of the 989 registered buses:
Route Bus Lanes: 34 vehicles
Tour Buses: 400 vehicles
Hotel Shuttle Buses: 75 vehicles
Hotel Shuttle Buses: 480 vehicles

Moving forward into FY2024, our commitment to reducing vehicle volume remains steadfast, with a primary focus on mitigating traffic congestion in the Hirafu area. We specifically seek ongoing collaboration from businesses utilizing lanes (3) and (4), as well as those operating along the Hirafu Free Shuttle Bus route, to actively manage and regulate the number of vehicles.
