Implementation of Tourism DX Promotion Project

The Niseko Area Smart Resort Consortium is comprised of JTB Corporation (President/CEO: Eijiro Yamakita), Kutchan Town (Mayor:Kazushi Monji), Kutchan Tourism Association (Representative Director:Satoshi Yoshida), Niseko Promotion Board (Representative Director:Patrick Otani), Niseko Resort Tourism Association（CEO:Shinichi Shimoda）, OpenTone (CEO: Daisuke Sato) is a part of the ‘’Tourism DX Promotion Project‘’ promoted by the Japan Tourism Agency. The consortium will conduct the regional demonstration from January 12, 2023.

Efforts to improve convenience for travelers and productivity in the tourism industry by promoting DX in the tourism sector, as well as to revitalize regions and realize a sustainable economic society through cooperation among regions and tourism businesses.

Information on Niseko area restaurants, activities, Kukuru member stores, Onsen,Taxi and Rental car, ski lift operations. Route searches to destinations reflecting the user's location information are available

This will take place on the official Niseko United website. The map can reflect real-time information on congestion at the ski resort's,rest houses,parking lots, as well as the operation status of the two shuttle bus. Combined with the lift operation and weather information already provided, this will help reduce the stress felt during inclement weather and congestion, and help visitors plan their activities during their stay.

Actual data on the number of nights booked in the Niseko area in previous years, by place of residence, by country, and by amount spent, and forecast demand up to 6 months in advance.
Demand forecast analysis overlapping with that year's information is also performed, contributing to strategic and proactive measures such as event planning and promotions.
